We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance and Loan Coordinator to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in coordinating construction and private loan activities, ensuring timely processing of loan documentation, facilitating communication among lenders and internal teams, and helping provide a seamless experience throughout the homebuilding process.

Position Summary

The Finance and Loan Coordinator is responsible for managing the construction loan process from contract through closing.  This role will serve as a liaison between homebuyers, lenders, title companies, and internal departments to ensure all loan requirements, deadlines, and documentation are completed accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor construction loan files from contract execution through loan closing.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for lenders, title companies, and internal stakeholders regarding loan-related matters.
• Review loan documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Track financing milestones and ensure timely completion of lender requirements.
• Follow up on missing documentation and outstanding items.
• Maintain accurate records and update internal tracking systems.
• Schedule and coordinate loan closings with lenders and title companies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Construction, and Accounting teams to ensure smooth transaction flow.
• Monitor loan status and proactively identify potential delays or issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, lending requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Prepare reports and provide regular updates regarding loan progress and closing timelines.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the home financing and closing process.

Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years of experience in mortgage lending, construction lending, loan processing, escrow, title, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of residential mortgage and/or construction loan processes.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Customer-focused mindset with a professional and positive demeanor.

Preferred

• Experience working with homebuilders, construction lending, or new home sales.
• Knowledge of construction loan closing procedures.
• Experience with mortgage loan origination, processing, or closing software.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience recording accounting transactions.
