Patient Accounting Analyst

This is a remote position however, the individual must reside near Kennett Square, PA for onsite training in the first few weeks. The Patient Accounting Analyst plays a crucial financial role in minimizing bad debt and maximizing revenue to meet Business Excellence goals.

Responsibilities:

• Report to Manager, Private Collections
• Manage Accounts Receivable for non-delinquent and non-estate accounts with the goal to improve Days of Sales Outstanding (DSO), reduce DSO Target Ratio and improve the collection ratio.
• Research and verify all new patient responsible person information.
• Contact patient or responsible party as aged and at the appropriate time present and offer payment options.
• Monitor Cash Receipts Journal for payments.
• Transition accounts for Estate, Probate or Bankruptcy changes to designee.

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or 2 years or more of Accounts Receivable experience is required.
• Experience working in high volume environment is required.
• Must have a customer service orientation.
