Per Diem Pharmacist - North Fort Myers, FL

A pharmacy opportunity is available for a Pharmacist on a per diem basis in Punta Gorda, FL. This role involves distributing prescribed medications and offering detailed information to customers about their proper use, with an emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service in a retail or long-term care setting.


Schedule:

• Various shifts throughout May 2026, generally from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on selected weekdays

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications prescribed by healthcare practitioners
• Consult with patients regarding medication usage, side effects, and potential interactions
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and patient care

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Florida pharmacist license is required
• Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings is preferred
• Strong communication skills to effectively educate and assist patients
• Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail in preparing prescriptions
