Job Description
Our client is planning a project to convert from WebChest to IMIS and is need of an iMIS Subject Matter Expert (SME). In this role you will serve as a hands-on Technical/Functional consultant and work with the project team to help implement this application.
Responsibilities
- Elicit requirements from customers (business units)
- Convert requirements into technical specifications and review with technical team members
- Prepare project plan
- Work with technical team members to implement the conversion
- Monitor project status and provide relevant updates to business units and management team
- Oversee testing
- After conversion is complete provide knowledge transfer to cross-functional team members
Required Skills/Experience
- Subject Matter Expert in iMIS
- Prior experience working on a conversion to iMIS from another application in a technical and functional capacity
- Experience creating and maintaining project plans, monitoring project milestones and preparing relevant updates/reports
- Ability to interact with cross-functional team members – i.e. business, technical and management as well as vendors
- Experience with WebChest is a plus
