Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part Time Scrub Technician to join our ophthalmology team in Naples, FL. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional support during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field during ophthalmic surgeries.
- Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies as needed.
- Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and ready for use.
- Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a scrub technician, preferably in ophthalmology.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Schedule
Part time position with flexible hours to accommodate surgical schedules.
