Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join a dynamic healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care in the catheterization laboratory setting.

Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday
• Call Requirements: Every third weekend and 10-13 days per month

Responsibilities

• Circulate and monitor cardiac catheterization cases, ensuring patient safety and quality care.
• Collaborate with the cardiology team and assist in various procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic medical record system (Cerner).
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient education and support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required.
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience preferred.
• Current ACLS certification is required.
• Experience in circulating cardiac catheterization procedures is essential.

Additional Information

This position guarantees 48 hours per week. The department operates with a monthly service volume of approximately 150 cases, and the facility features 12 beds dedicated to catheterization procedures.
