Position Summary We are seeking MRI Technologists for an immediate contract opportunity at the VA Portland Health Care System in Portland, Oregon . The selected professionals will perform advanced MRI imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with established imaging protocols. Schedule Primarily Monday–Friday 8-hour day shifts Occasional schedule variations based on facility needs On-call and additional coverage may be required Responsibilities Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and established imaging protocols Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures Verify patient identity and explain imaging procedures Maintain a clean, organized imaging environment Participate in on-call coverage as required Qualifications ARRT certification in Radiography with MRI specialty certification Current BCLS certification Minimum 2 years of MRI experience Recent hospital MRI experience within the last six months Professional liability insurance What's in it for you?
