Staff Accountant

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organisation. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports. Ensure accuracy and compliance in accounting procedures and practices. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies. Support budgeting and forecasting activities. Collaborate with external auditors during audits. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in a similar role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Nice to haveProfessional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred. Experience with financial analysis and reporting tools. Familiarity with ERP systems. #J-18808-Ljbffr
