Description:
The Epidemiologist 1 will be responsible for professional scientific and epidemiological assessments of considerable difficulty.
This position will support the data collection project that combines care coordination programs into one overarching initiative.
The Epidemiologist 1 will develop and maintain enhancements to data collection and manage the data collection module used to guide programmatic efforts.
They must be able to quickly build out a data collection system that meets programmatic requirements.
The Epidemiologist 1 will also assist with integrating a new data system.
Key responsibilities include preparing routine reports of program participation and outcomes.
This role involves implementing code changes and project modifications as processes evolve.
The Epidemiologist 1 will provide technical assistance to non-technical staff.
They will write independent code and test output for accuracy.
This position includes pulling, cleaning, and submitting recurring reports in a timely manner.
The Epidemiologist 1 will work closely with teams to support surveillance projects and create data outputs and visualizations.
They are expected to respond quickly to data inquiries and provide information to various stakeholders and partners.
The role requires proficiency in managing electronic data and navigating complex databases with attention to detail.
Experience in customer service and teamwork is necessary.
Demonstrated experience in public health and health data is preferred.
Foundation in system design, analysis, and evaluation is also preferred.
This position does not supervise any staff.
