As a Registered Behavior Technician , you’ll play a vital role in helping children develop essential skills, build confidence, and thrive in a supportive and inclusive environment. Work one-on-one with children using evidence-based ABA techniques to promote independence, social skills, and personal growth through fun and interactive activities tailored to each child's unique needs. Teach skills to enhance communication and functioning. Implement and facilitate behavior plans, monitor outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed. Restructure environments to support positive outcomes and reduce problematic behaviors. Collect data and maintain accurate records. Communicate with behavior analysts, families, and peers to coordinate activities and advocate for individual needs. Complete daily progress notes and maintain accurate records. Pay Ranges Based on Experience & Education: Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Pass a National Criminal Background check. RBT Certification (preferred). Completion of RBT certification process within 30 days of employment. Reliable transportation. Ability to physically engage with children in a fast-paced environment, lifting up to 30 lbs and maintaining a safe and tidy workspace. Spanish-speaking skills are a plus but not required. Must be willing to travel and work in-home settings. Childcare (nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, tutor, etc.) (Preferred). Mental health advocates and professionals (QMHP, behavioral health technicians) (Preferred). Camp counselors, volunteers, youth faith group leaders or youth coaching (Preferred). Degrees in special education, teaching, psychology, sociology, or related fields (Preferred).
