Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Illinois, requiring an active IL RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting within a hospital environment
• Every other weekend requirement — Friday and Saturday nights (Sunday nights are not considered a weekend shift)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS/BCLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• PCU or relevant progressive care experience expected

Additional Information

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Utilize clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
• Responsible for maintaining complete and accurate medical records
• Provide patient and family education, including explanations and care instructions
• Expected to meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care and participate in continuing education
• Contribute to a positive workplace environment through professional communication and conflict management
