You'll drive a company-provided service truck to central job sites, perform on-site diagnostics and repairs, and represent a team that respects your craftsmanship. What You'll Do (Mobile Diesel Technician Responsibilities)
- Drive a company service truck to customer yards, fleet hubs, and central job sites
- Diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles
- Perform preventative maintenance on engines, transmissions, braking systems , and related components
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Accurately complete work orders and ensure compliance with DOT and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with service managers, dispatch, and team members to ensure quality and efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe mobile workspace
- 3+ years of hands-on diesel repair experience
- Familiarity with diagnostic software , scan tools, and repair equipment
- Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and problem-solving skills
- CDL or ASE certifications are a plus (not required for all roles)
- High attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
- Willingness to work overtime or on-call shifts when needed
- Independence and variety in your daily work
