Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified General Gastroenterologist to join our growing, high-performing gastroenterology team. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who is passionate about delivering patient-centered care while enjoying the support of an experienced, collaborative team in a thriving regional referral center.

J-1 waiver sponsorship is available , with a supported pathway to permanent residency (Green Card) through experienced immigration counsel.

Position Highlights:

• Comprehensive general gastroenterology practice with a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care
• Join a collegial team of gastroenterologists, advanced practice providers, and highly skilled nursing and support staff
• Strong referral network and large service area that provide a diverse and robust patient population
• Advanced endoscopy services, including ERCP and EUS, available within the practice
• Well-established infrastructure and administrative support allowing physicians to focus on clinical excellence

Compensation Information:

• $610,000 annual base salary with the ability to earn additional compensation based on productivity and quality incentives.
• The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position.The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc.
