Data Engineer (MS Fabric)

Atrium is currently seeking an experienced Data Engineer that can balance hands-on engineering, solution architecture, and BI development. This person will report to the Director and help design how data flows across the enterprise, build the pipelines, and turn it into dashboards working primarily in Microsoft Fabric. Responsibilities: Design data architecture solutions on Microsoft Fabric, with working knowledge of comparable platforms (Databricks, Snowflake) to inform tooling decisions. Build and maintain ELT pipelines that bring data in from MS D365 and Salesforce into an analytics-ready data layer. Develop and support BI solutions. Write and optimize SQL cost and performance in a cloud environment. Prepare data pipelines that feed machine learning use cases (e.g., demand forecasting, inventory optimization); collaborate with data science stakeholders on feature engineering and model-ready datasets. Implement and maintain data governance standards across the platform Partner cross functionally with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Etc. Qualifications: 5–7 years of experience in data science Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric (required) Proficiency in Python Solid understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred) Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
