Job Title: Programmer Analyst 6 (Salesforce Developer)

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain customizable Salesforce solutions supporting CRM business requirements.
• Support the State of Michigan's Salesforce Classic to Lightning migration initiative.
• Work closely with business users, stakeholders, customers, and technical teams to define technical requirements.
• Translate customer requirements and performance goals into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure all technical solutions align with long-term enterprise strategies.
• Take ownership of application release cycles, deployments, and production updates.
• Provide overall technical leadership and oversight for Salesforce project environments.
• Develop and maintain internal Salesforce development standards and best practices.
• Ensure adherence to State of Michigan security standards and guidelines throughout the application lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers and teams across multiple enterprise systems to support integrations.
• Communicate technical strategies and business value to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Develop knowledge transfer and training plans to support maintenance and operations teams.
• Participate in all phases of Salesforce implementation and development lifecycles.
• Design and implement Salesforce solutions using both declarative and programmatic approaches.
• Develop and maintain Apex classes, Apex triggers, Visualforce pages, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Build solutions using Salesforce Flows, Process Builders, and Workflow Rules.
• Gather technical requirements and drive implementation of enterprise Salesforce solutions.
• Integrate Salesforce with cloud and on-premises applications using standard and custom REST APIs.
• Develop web service integrations utilizing REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and OAuth Authentication.
• Implement Batch Apex and Schedule Apex solutions.
• Manage Salesforce data migrations, data quality initiatives, integrations, AppExchange products, and custom development.
• Assess Salesforce architecture and recommend secure, high-performance solutions.
• Design and document cross-platform technical architectures.
• Support SFDX development, source control, branching, merging, and deployment activities.
• Support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and release management processes.
• Identify, assess, document, and mitigate technical risks and issues.

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in any field of study.
• Minimum 6 years of Salesforce development experience.
• Minimum 4 years of Salesforce platform development experience utilizing Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, HTML5, and JavaScript.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Salesforce Service Cloud.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Salesforce Digital Experience Sites.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with GoMeddo Scheduling customization or equivalent scheduling platform experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Conga Composer.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Salesforce Lightning experience, including Lightning Web Components.
• Strong experience migrating Salesforce Classic environments to Lightning Experience.
• Experience migrating Legacy Visualforce Portals to Salesforce Digital Experience Sites.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Salesforce Development Lifecycle processes.
• Experience with Salesforce DX (SFDX) development tools and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Experience Cloud, and Salesforce Digital Experience Sites.
• Experience implementing Salesforce configurations using Flows, Process Builders, and Workflow Rules.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with cloud-based applications, on-premises systems, and third-party platforms.
• Experience implementing authentication solutions including OAuth.
• Experience supporting data migrations, data quality initiatives, systems integrations, AppExchange products, and custom development.
• Experience with REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, JSON, XML, HTML5, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or comparable DevOps platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD deployment practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in dynamic project environments under strict deadlines.
• Participate in a hybrid work schedule with onsite attendance required two days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday).
• Report onsite from the first day of engagement.
• Support the Salesforce Classic to Lightning migration initiative.
• Deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
• Build and maintain Salesforce integrations, automations, and custom applications.
• Manage release cycles, deployments, and change management activities.
• Maintain Salesforce development standards and best practices.
• Support Azure DevOps source control and CI/CD deployment processes.
• Produce technical architecture documentation and implementation documentation.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and prepare transition plans for Maintenance and Operations teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, developers, and business teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies.
• Support ongoing enhancements, maintenance, and modernization efforts within the Salesforce environment.

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II.
• Salesforce Experience Cloud Certification.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
• Salesforce Certified Administrator.
• Experience working with Health Cloud.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with API Integrations and Single Sign-On (SSO) Implementations.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Release Management, and CI/CD Processes.
• Experience supporting large-scale data migration initiatives.
• Experience with cloud integration projects.
• Experience supporting public-sector or government organizations.
• Familiarity with government compliance requirements and FedRAMP-compliant environments.
• Experience designing enterprise Salesforce architecture solutions.
