Medical Assistant Supervisor (CMA, CCMA or LVN) Are you dedicated to providing quality services to children and adults in our community? Help lead our MA team and become our next Medical Assistant Supervisor! The Medical Assistant Supervisor manages approximately 5-6 Medical Assistants (MA) and performs clinical and administrative duties, including gathering patient information, data collection and recording, medical records and staff supervision. Responsibilities Supervise Medical Assistants, including hiring, onboarding, mentoring, training and staff evaluations Manage MA assignments, schedules, time off, timesheets, and general coverage needs Oversee MA responsibilities, requirements and performance expectations Manage workflows, staff trainings and skills tests to ensure quality services and outcomes Maintain effective communication and workflows between from and back office staff Performs patient care duties and prepares patients for treatment, including reading medical history, taking vital signs and performing required testing as needed Perform ancillary testing and tasks, including EKG, audiograms, blood draws, etc. Administer medication and vaccines Effective communication with Patients, Medical Providers and other Administrative staff members Ability to perform all clinic MA duties to provide coverage as needed Perform monthly/daily clinic tasks and reports Keep inventory stocked and order as needed Maintains confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA Other duties as assigned Requirements Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or CCMA), LVN or related training/certification required 2 years of experience in a clinical setting with supervisory or lead responsibilities Current CPR / BLS certification Excellent communication and organizational skills Experience in Microsoft Office Suites (Word/Excel/Outlook) and EMR systems Commitment to the mission and values of Davis Street #J-18808-Ljbffr
