Tanglewood Conservatories is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Trim Carpenter to join our construction team. This role focuses on the precise installation of finish carpentry elements in high-end conservatories, sunrooms, and custom residential structures. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, understands architectural detail, and is willing to travel to various job sites as needed to support project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install interior and exterior trim components including molding, baseboards, crown molding, window/door casings, and custom woodwork
• Install doors, windows, and specialty millwork with precision
• Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and design specifications
• Travel to project locations as required, sometimes for extended periods
• Ensure all finish carpentry meets company quality standards and client expectations
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other trades on-site
• Perform adjustments and repairs to achieve a flawless final appearance
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all safety guidelines and company protocols

Qualifications and skills:

• 5+ years of experience in finish/trim carpentry
• Strong knowledge of woodworking tools, materials, and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• High attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to job sites (including out-of-town projects as needed)
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
