Primary Care PhysicianPrimary Care Physician - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)The Primary Care Physician diagnoses medical conditions and order appropriate laboratory tests, imaging studies (e.g., X-rays), and other diagnostic procedures as needed.Collaborate with other agencies or health facilities on behalf of patients and their families to arrange admissions to hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and skilled nursing facilities.Organize emergency ground and/or air medical transport as required.Analyze clinical data, develop therapeutic programs, and communicate information effectively to patients and their families.The Primary Care Physician provides support to patients and families in times of illness.Maintain accurate and timely Electronic Health Records (EHR) with detailed clinical documentation, including diagnosis codes. Complete all EHR notes within 24 hours of patient encounters.Prescribe medications and treatment therapies in coordination with nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare personnel.Follow up on treatment plans and monitor patient progress.Recognize the need for referral to a mental health professional when necessary.The Primary Care Physician consults independently with medical and surgical specialists to discuss patient care and arrange referrals as needed to appropriate health facilities.Primary Care Physician - REQUIREMENTSGraduate from an accredited School of Medicine with an MD or DO degree.Must have at least 12 continuous months of experience within the last 3 years in a similar role at a public or private institution.Must have a current DEA.Should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM).Hold a full, current, and unrestricted license in CaliforniaMust hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification recognized by the American Heart Association.KurzSolutions is committed to improving health outcomes by providing well-managed companies with the top healthcare talent in the market.KurzSolutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
