Radiologic Technologist

Role Overview The Radiologic Technologist & Medical Support Specialist performs routine x-ray examinations and provides clinical support to ensure high-quality patient care. They prepare patients, operate radiologic equipment, observe safety protocols, and maintain equipment and documentation. Additionally, they assist with medical procedures, perform screenings, dispense medications, and handle clerical duties to facilitate smooth patient flow. Responsibilities include Preparing and positioning patients, operating imaging equipment, ensuring safety, maintaining equipment, and documenting procedures. They also perform medical tasks such as vital signs collection, specimen collection, assisting providers, applying dressings, dispensing medications, and managing supplies. Front office duties involve patient check-in/out, communication, and record-keeping. Qualifications High school diploma or GED, accredited radiologic technology certification, ARRT registration, CPR/First Aid certification, and at least six months of medical assistant experience. Knowledge of occupational medicine and healthcare procedures is preferred. Skills & Competencies Service-oriented attitude, attention to detail, problem-solving, professionalism, confidentiality, strong communication, teamwork, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
