Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)Pediatric Autism & AAC Specialist

Location: Palestine, TX | On-Site
Position: Full-Time, W2
Salary: $90,000–$105,000 annually, based on experience
Caseload: Approximately 25 pediatric clients
Direct Treatment: Approximately 25 hours/week
Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours
No travel between clients

About the Position

Coastal Kids Autism Treatment Center is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our pediatric autism clinic in East Texas and help lead and grow our speech therapy program.

Our SLP will maintain a caseload of approximately 25 children , typically receiving two 30-minute individual sessions per week , for approximately 25 direct treatment hours weekly .

The remainder of the full-time schedule provides protected time for evaluations, documentation, treatment planning, AAC programming, insurance requirements, caregiver communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Unlike home health or traditional outpatient models, our clients are already on-site for daily programming . There is no driving between appointments, and our model provides excellent scheduling efficiency and opportunities for collaboration with the child's treatment team.

What You'll Do

• Provide individualized speech-language therapy to pediatric clients on the autism spectrum. 
• Conduct speech/language evaluations and re-evaluations. 
• Develop individualized, functional communication goals and treatment plans. 
• Evaluate, customize, program, and support high-tech and low-tech AAC systems. 
• Prepare clinical documentation and funding materials for speech-generating devices when applicable. 
• Complete treatment notes, progress reports, plans of care, and insurance authorization documentation. 
• Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, caregivers, and clinic leadership to promote communication throughout the child's day. 
• Provide caregivers with practical strategies to support communication at home and in the community. 
• Help develop and grow CKATC's integrated speech and AAC program. 

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. 
• Active and unrestricted Texas SLP license. 
• CCC-SLP certification through ASHA. 
• Pediatric experience required; autism experience strongly preferred. 
• AAC experience strongly preferred. 
• Experience with AAC funding, commercial insurance, and/or Texas Medicaid is a plus. 
• Strong clinical documentation, organization, communication, and collaborative skills.
