The Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking a Senior Principal Computer Systems Analyst (Windows and VMWare Sys Admin) to support information system lifecycle activities for the CIDO. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our Linthicum, MD location.The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:Perform as a Senior Computer Systems Analyst in support of classified government contractsAble to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal or external customers, in written and oral format.Establishes and maintains high levels of customer satisfaction according to defined objectives while adhering to established policies.Report task statuses as required for all recurring and non-recurring efforts in written and oral format.Oversee and lead the reliable operations of multi-user computer systems working with system engineers, PC desktop technicians, networking engineers, project managers, end users, and IT/Cyber management.Analyze and make recommendations to internal or external customer requirements and determine equipment and software requirements for solutions to problems.Recommend and implement system enhancements, to include automation, that will improve the performance of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management.Ensure compliant and reliable backup and recovery services; manage file systems and disk space; manage virus protection on a routine basis.Test and oversee new releases of products to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact.Lead the development and documentation of technical processes and procedures.Interact, meet, discuss, and troubleshoot issues with vendors; evaluate vendor products, services, and suggestions.Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all cases and report security relevant statuses accordingly.Ensure accurate security audit and logging information on all classified networked and standalone computers as directed by the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM).Work across disciplines to isolate issues between software, firmware, and hardware, between software and operating systems, between networks and applications, and between one-time events and recurrent systematic problems.Mentorship of junior professionals to grow and develop technical talentLift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.Work after hours, and weekends, as needed.Note: Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. Basic Qualifications :PhD with 4 years of relevant IT experience; OR a Master's Degree with 6 years of relevant IT experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of relevant IT experience; OR a Associates Degree with 10 years of relevant IT experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent) with 12 years of relevant IT experience is requiredMust have experience with designing and maintaining Windows domain architectures, including but not limited to Active Directory, GPOs, Policies, and permissions in a classified environmentExperience with VMWare implementation, migration and maintenance is requiredCandidates must meet the U.S. Government 8140 (8570 equivalent) baseline certification requirements for a Sr Principal Computer Systems Analyst - IAT Level II (example: Security+ CE)Candidates must have a current US Government Top Secret/SCI level security clearance to include a recent Polygraph [adjudicated within the last 5 years] in order to be consideredPreferred Qualifications :The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree, a Security+ CE certification, and 7 years of Windows server administration experience to include VMWare, Linux, RedHat Administration in a classified environmentExperienced Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, LDAP and other servicesExperience operating under and managing systems within NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG information system environmentsExperienced with networking, including subnets, routing, VLANs and VTCs; Cisco experience and/or certificationExperienced in the creation, maintenance, and deployment of system images in an enterprise environmentExperience installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware in a networked environmentExperience working in virtualized environmentsDeploy and maintain Backup solutions (Cohesity, Veritas, etc) and SAN storage systemsExperience with environmental monitoring tools (HBSS/Solar Winds/Splunk)Experience in scripting and automationOperating System Cross-platform awareness (i.e. two or more: Windows, Linux, Solaris, OSX, UNIX, etc.)Experience with Assessment & Authorization processesWe offer flexible work arrangements, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. Primary Level Salary Range: $123,400.00 - $185,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
