The Pharmacist will verify and dispense prescriptions, ensure accurate medication preparation, and review patient profiles for therapeutic appropriateness, potential interactions, and allergies. Day-to-day responsibilities include counseling patients on proper medication use, side effects, and storage, as well as providing immunizations and other clinical services as allowed by state regulations. The Pharmacist will communicate with prescribers to clarify orders, address medication-related concerns, and support coordinated patient care. Additional responsibilities include maintaining compliance with pharmacy laws and standards, overseeing pharmacy technicians, managing inventory and controlled substances, and contributing to a safe, organized, and patient-centered workplace.\n\nQualifications\n\n Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the state of Oklahoma, and eligibility to provide immunizations as permitted by state regulations\n Demonstrated proficiency in prescription verification, dispensing, and medication therapy management in a community or retail pharmacy setting\n Strong patient counseling and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly and respectfully to diverse populations\n Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices related to controlled substances, insurance processing, and patient safety\n Comfort with pharmacy management systems and basic technology used for e-prescribing, patient records, and inventory management\n Ability to collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals while maintaining professional judgment and accountability\n Strong attention to detail, time-management skills, and reliability in a fast-paced environment\n Willingness to work part time, likely 2-3 days per week, with the potential for full-time. Work days are Monday-Friday 9-6.\n Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting is preferred but not required; new graduates with appropriate licensure are encouraged to apply\n Must be able to pass drug and background screenings. Please note, this is a safety-sensitive position and, as such, is subject to a zero-tolerance standard.\n Knowledge of DRX Pharmacy Software is a plus but not required.\n Pay starting at $50/hour.\n
