If tracking down a stubborn electrical fault or fine-tuning a hydraulic circuit sounds like your kind of challenge, this six-month contract in Fort Wayne, Indiana could be the right next step.

The role at a glance

• Shift: Second shift, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
• Pay: $26.00–$30.00 per hour (depending on proven work history)
• Term: Six-month contract

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on manufacturing equipment—especially CNC lathes and warm forge presses
• Install and maintain electrical systems and components per code and blueprint specifications
• Diagnose faults, replace defective parts, and validate that machines run correctly
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections to maximize uptime
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and part replacements
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and plant teams to resolve issues and elevate processes

Experience profile

• Production environment experience with emphasis on CNC machinery and mechanical press repair/troubleshooting (preferred)
• Competence with AC/DC drives, servo motors, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial control systems
• Able to interpret hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic blueprints
• Skilled in both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
• Strong communication and basic computer literacy
• Comfort with shift flexibility and overtime
