Location: Denver, Colorado

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM; 4:1 patient ratio (5:1 during surge periods) Highlights:

• Travel RN position in a 23-bed Pediatric Emergency Department with experienced team of 45 staff members
• Day shift configuration includes 4 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, 5 mid-shift RNs, support staff, and EMT coverage
• EMR system: Meditech; equipment includes GE monitors and full point-of-care testing capabilities
• Work with a close-knit team known for highest patient satisfaction scores and fastest turnaround times in the market
• Typical procedures include port access, IV starts, venipuncture, nasal wash, point-of-care testing, EKG, and Foley placement
• Collaborative environment that values both clinical excellence and team culture

Requirements:

• Active Colorado RN license (or eligibility for multi-state compact license)
• Minimum 1 year of current Pediatric Emergency Department RN experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC required
• ENPC preferred; PALS will be accepted in lieu of ENPC
• CEN, CPEN, and IV competency preferred
• Strong communication skills with caring, competent, and proactive approach to patient care
