Position: Robotic Welder

Location: Fulton Industrial/Lithia Springs

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Friday overtime available based on departmental needs

Pay: Starting at $19/hr

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

 

Job Summary

We are hiring a Robotic Welder for a client in the Fulton Industrial/Lithia Springs area. This role involves operating robotic welding equipment to fabricate metal structures and components with a high degree of precision. Previous welding experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and drawings to plan layout and welding procedures

• Set up and operate robotic welding equipment according to specifications

• Operate angle grinders to prepare parts for welding

• Align components using calipers, rulers, and clamps

• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment as needed

• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify flaws

• Use computer systems to log and report production quantities

• Report issues and defective parts to supervisors

• Maintain equipment in safe, working condition

 

Must Haves

• Fanuc pendant experience

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

• Experience using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, etc.)

• Knowledge of applicable safety standards; willingness to wear required PPE

• Ability to stand for 10+ hours per shift

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment

• Ability to see details at close range

• Steel toe shoes required

 

Preferred Skills

• Previous welding experience in a production manufacturing environment

• AWS welding certification or equivalent professional certification

• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
