Are you passionate about cannabis, connecting with people, and representing an exciting New York cannabis brand? Dank By Definition is seeking energetic, outgoing, and reliable Brand Ambassadors to represent our products at dispensary pop-ups, vendor days, trade shows, festivals, community events, and brand activations throughout New York State.

This is a flexible, part-time position ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with customers, building relationships, and creating memorable brand experiences.

Position Overview

As a Brand Ambassador, you will serve as the face of Dank By Definition in the field. Your primary responsibility is to represent the brand professionally, educate consumers and dispensary staff, support retail partners, and help drive sales through positive customer engagement.

Successful candidates are energetic self-starters who can confidently engage hundreds of consumers during a single activation, build relationships with dispensary staff, and help convert customer interest into sales at retail locations.

Responsibilities

Brand Representation

• Represent Dank By Definition professionally at dispensaries, vendor days, pop-ups, festivals, trade shows, and special events.

• Maintain a positive, knowledgeable, and professional image while representing the company.

• Communicate the Dank By Definition story, values, and product offerings to consumers and retail partners.

Consumer Engagement

• Engage with customers and event attendees in a friendly and approachable manner.

• Educate consumers about products, strains, formats, and brand offerings while remaining compliant with New York State regulations.

• Answer customer questions and provide product recommendations based on customer needs and interests.

Retail & Sales Support

• Support dispensary partners by helping increase product awareness and sales during scheduled events.

• Build positive relationships with budtenders, managers, and dispensary staff.

• Assist in educating retail teams on product knowledge and brand messaging.

• Encourage customer purchases through effective product education and brand advocacy.

Event Execution

• Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled events and activations.

• Set up and break down promotional displays, signage, and event materials.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming event space throughout activations.

• Distribute approved marketing materials, promotional items, and educational resources.

Brand Awareness & Social Media

• Capture photos and videos from events and activations for use on social media.

• Create and share approved content that highlights the brand, products, and event experiences.

• Encourage customer engagement with the brand through social media, loyalty programs, and other approved marketing initiatives.

• Gather customer feedback and share insights with management.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout New York State as needed.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with large groups and individual customers.

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.

• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, events, promotions, nightlife, brand ambassadorship, or cannabis is preferred but not required.

• Active social media presence and comfort creating content is a plus.

• Passion for cannabis and willingness to learn about products and industry trends.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods during events.

• Ability to lift and carry promotional materials and event supplies up to 25 pounds.

• Ability to work both indoor and outdoor events.
