SUMMARY: This non-tenure-earning faculty position will teach in the CRNA Program engage in scholarly
activity mentor graduate nursing students and contribute to college university community and professional service in alignment with the universitys criteria for appointment at the Assistant Professor rank.

This part-time non-tenure-earning faculty position will support the CRNA Program through teaching student
mentorship and other academic activities consistent with the needs of the program and the faculty members assigned FTE. The faculty member will contribute to the educational mission of the College and participate in service and scholarly activities as appropriate to the appointment and consistent with University criteria for appointment at the Assistant Professor rank.

The part-time faculty member will support the CRNA Program through didactic laboratory simulation and/or clinical residency instruction based on program needs and assigned effort. Responsibilities may include student instruction and mentorship participation in course and curriculum activities and evaluation of students and clinical learning experiences as appropriate. The faculty member may also participate in College University community or professional service and scholarly activities consistent with the scope and FTE of the part-time appointment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching academic research and service. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor.

Additional Minimum Qualifications:

Must hold or be eligible for licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Florida by the start date.

Must hold national certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).

Current clinical practice as a CRNA/APRN in the state of Florida.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of one year of post-secondary teaching experience in a college or school of nursing.

Demonstrated expertise in teaching and/or curriculum development in pharmacology physiology pathophysiology nurse anesthesia or related content.

Experience with technology-supported educational methods including online and blended formats.

Experience with simulation-based learning.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students faculty clinical partners and community partners.

Evidence of scholarly activity through publications presentations external funding or other relevant contributions.
