Public Health Lab Tech III — QA & Specimen Handling

Texas Department of State Health Services in Austin is seeking a Laboratory Technician III to support QA/QC in the microbiology lab. This regular full-time role involves checking in specimens, data entry, and ensuring accuracy of daily reports. You will work under supervision of a Microbiologist IV, handle specimens, assist with training, shipping to CDC, and maintain safety and compliance with SOPs.
