The Personal Injury Legal Assistant supports a mixed personal injury caseload in an office-based role reporting to a managing attorney. This position maintains case files, coordinates medical records and documentation, manages insurance correspondence, and communicates frequently with clients throughout their cases.

 

Responsibilities

• Conduct client intake and gather information relevant to personal injury claims.
• Manage and maintain organized case files for a mixed personal injury caseload.
• Request, organize, and review medical records.
• Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and case-related materials.
• Handle insurance correspondence and support claim communications.
• Communicate frequently with clients throughout the case.
• Provide office-based administrative and case support to the managing attorney.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• MUST have 2+ years of experience in personal injury legal support.
• Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field.
• Experience with legal case management software and document management.
• Experience reviewing medical records.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Knowledge of Clio software
