About the Role

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a full-time Sit-Down Forklift Operator (1st Shift) for a fast-paced industrial warehouse facility in Saint Louis, MO (63134).

In this high-volume equipment role, you will be driving a sit-down forklift 100% of the time. Your primary focus will be loading and unloading trucks, organizing palletized inventory, and feeding pallet lines to repairers to keep operations moving smoothly. What You Will Do

100% Dedicated Forklift Operation: Safely and continuously operate a sit-down forklift throughout your entire shift in a fast-paced environment.
Truck Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload incoming and outgoing freight trucks and shipping containers.
Pallet Stacking & Organization: Neatly stack, stage, and organize pallets within assigned warehouse storage areas and bay locations.
Repair Line Support: Transport and supply pallets directly to repair technicians so they can maintain steady workflow and production goals.
Equipment Care & Safety: Perform daily pre-shift forklift inspections, follow site safety protocols, and keep driving lanes clear of hazards.

What You Need

Equipment Experience: Hands-on experience operating sit-down forklifts required.
Required PPE: Steel-toe work boots strictly required on site from day one.
Fast-Paced Capability: Ability to drive efficiently and safely in a active, fast-moving warehouse setting.
Detail & Accuracy: Sharp eye for stacking pallets securely, organizing rows neatly, and maintaining floor safety.
Reliability: Rock-solid attendance, daily punctuality, and reliable transportation to Saint Louis, MO 63134.
Screening: Willingness to complete standard pre-employment background checks and screenings.
