Registered Nurse (RN) - Step Down (Nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care within the assigned unit scope of practice in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
• Apply nursing process guidelines and adhere to established standards of care and standards of practice
• Provide care across a 36-bed private treatment room unit serving a diverse patient population
• Utilize strong cardiac experience to monitor and manage step-down level patients
• Float to other units as needed to support staffing and patient care needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Step Down experience - Required
• Strong cardiac experience and proficiency - Required
• Willingness to float to other units - Required
• ACLS certification - Required
• BLS certification - Required
• Candidates with a permanent address within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers and may be subject to adjusted travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced acute care or intermediate care environment
