Trailer Mechanic

Trailer Mechanic Full‑Time, Monday – Friday, various shifts. Salary: Up to $37.75 per hour. PTO may be used immediately upon hire. R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Trailer Mechanics at our Farmington, MN Service Center. The role includes diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our trailers. Requirements Experienced in performing safety inspections of equipment and preparing safety documents required by FMCSA, company, and federal, state, or local regulations. Can interpret technical manuals. Experience repairing or replacing defective parts, components, or systems. Experience testing equipment for proper performance and ensuring work meets manufacturer specifications and regulations. Experience with trailer PMs and repairs. Able to lift 50 lbs. Owns own tools. Dependable. Prepared to work in various climate situations. Preferred Experience using the Cetaris Maintenance Work Order System. Welding skills. Experience driving yard tractors/trailers. Previous experience working on Class 8 commercial vehicles. Sheet metal and composite panel repair.
