Veterinarian Join our team at Pleasant Plains Animal Hospital in Staten Island, NY and make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners. Daily Responsibilities: Provide medical care to cats and dogs Perform digital and dental radiography Administer vaccines and preventive care Conduct surgeries and emergency care Utilize Pulse Practice Management System Required Skills: Experience with digital radiography Proficient in preventive and urgent care Ability to perform both preventative and emergent surgeries Skilled in anesthesia Strong client connection building through communication and education Nice to Have Skills: Knowledge of endoscopy Proficiency in ultrasound Expertise in internal medicine Orthopedic surgery skills Salary Range: $150,000 - $250,000 per year Benefits: Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, 401(k), Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Vacation Leave, Sick Leave, Paid Time Off, Paid Parental Leave, Long-Term Disability, Short-Term Disability Company Information: Pleasant Plains Animal Hospital is a two location, full-service veterinary medical facility in Staten Island, New York, providing comprehensive veterinary care, surgical services, and dental care for pets.
