Bartender [YR] - Dollywood's HeartSong Lodge & Resort - Full Time Year Round

Bartender PositionThe Bartender position is responsible for providing an excellent dining experience for our Guests through proper steps of service, maintaining a great work environment for our Hosts and Guests. The Bartender will also prepare all specialty drinks which are offered. This to be done in a manner consistent with The Dollywood Company's Mission and Values. Summary of Essential Functions & Responsibilities:Checks with Manager for daily forecast training standard objectivesAscertains the daily specials from kitchen and communicates themAnswers phone and record take-out food/drink ordersInspects Bar for cleanliness, proper supply levelsMakes specialty drinks to standard including ingredients and presentationMaintains a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with all local and federal health codesPerforms service, busser and runner duties as appropriateMust be willing to work in other disciplines within the department as directed by managementUses POS accurately. Handles cash and card transactions as directedParticipates in upsell strategies as directed by managementParticipates in daily line upsPractices service standards and current training throughout serviceEducation and Experience Required:Must be at least 21 years oldRequires thorough knowledge of a specialized or technical fieldHigh School Diploma, RequiredOne-year Bartender experience, RequiredMust be able to obtain Serve Safe/Alcohol Server CertificationBasic computer knowledge and usage preferredAbility to safely operate company vehicles according to company policy.
