As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Anacortes, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic refinery location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. In a role built on teamwork, integrity, and reliability, you will contribute to day-to-day operations in a fast-paced chemical and petrochemical setting.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, operational areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with location protocols, assisting with visitor processing, vehicle checks, and/or credential review as required.
• Support security-related operations within a chemical and petrochemical environment by remaining aware of site hazards, following post orders, and communicating with supervisors and/or local personnel regarding incidents or changing conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
