Escort patients, verify orders, isolation status, and identity. Operate multiple modes of transportation and maintain transport equipment. Complete the patient safety checklist prior to transport. Prepare procedure rooms, ensuring supplies and equipment are ready. Assist patients with records, documents, and assessments. Ensure equipment functions properly and handle malfunctions. Job Requirements 1 year of experience as a Transporter – preferred 1 year of direct patient care experience – preferred High school diploma or GED equivalent. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St.David's Healthcare policy. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date. We are an equal opportunity employer.
