Sr Snowflake Data Engineer

Job Location New York Job Responsibilities Experience in data integration activities including architecting, designing, coding, and testing phases. Architect the data warehouse and provide guidance to the team in implementation using Snowflake, Snow SQL, and other big data technologies. Hands‑on experience with Snowflake utilities (SnowSQL, SnowPipe), Big Data model techniques using Python. Experience in performance tuning of the Snow pipelines and should be able to troubleshoot issues quickly. Extensive experience in relational as well as NoSQL data stores, methods and approaches, star and Snowflake dimensional modeling. Understanding data pipelines and modern ways of automating data pipelines using cloud‑based implementation and testing, and clearly document the requirements to create technical and functional specs. Should be able to demonstrate the proposed solution with excellent communication and presentation skills. Required Skills Minimum 2 years of experience in designing and implementing a fully operational solution on Snowflake Data Warehouse. Experience with Python and a major relational database. Excellent understanding of Snowflake Internals and integration of Snowflake with other data processing and reporting technologies. Good presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to problem‑solve and convert requirements into design. Ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Work experience on optimizing the performance of the Spark job. Compensation The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $103,330 to $128,656. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
