Employment Type Casual Employee (per diem, hourly clinician role) Anticipated average of 8–20 patient‑care hours per week, with actual hours varying according to office needs. Location Patients are seen across multiple offices in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia. Candidates must be willing to work at any of these locations as needed. What You’ll Be Working On Seeing patients with a broad array of needs, conducting a mix of acute, chronic and well visits (not a panel‑building role) Treating patients in‑office as well as conducting occasional tele‑health visits Collaborating with in‑office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams Utilizing your specific clinical training and performing in‑office procedures as opportunities arise Obtaining additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states Education, Licenses and Experience Required At least 2years of primary care experience Currently licensed or able to obtain licensure in Maryland, Virginia and/or Washington, DC Completed an accredited NP program with national certification Ability to build successful relationships with team members and communicate effectively one‑on‑one and in groups Thrives in a fast‑growing, mission‑driven organization focused on using data to improve patient outcomes Passion for human‑centered primary care and the ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds Proficiency in evidence‑based primary care and effective use of technology to deliver high‑quality care Openness to feedback and reflection, with confidence navigating uncertain situations with patients and colleagues Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs Crucial Attributes Passion for human‑centered primary care Ability to successfully communicate and care for individuals from all backgrounds Effective use of technology to deliver high‑quality care Desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery Openness to feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into strengths and weaknesses Confidence navigating uncertain situations with patients and colleagues Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs Casual/Per Diem/Locums Provider Benefits Malpractice Insurance – fees fully covered by One Medical UpToDate Subscription – an evidence‑based clinical research tool One Medical‑issued laptop for secure EHR access Sick time / PTO eligible in accordance with local requirements Compensation The hourly rate for this role is $77.00 per hour. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on practice experience and patient‑care schedule.
