Nurse Practitioner

We are a well-established, privately owned medical practice with over 25 years of success serving the St Louis metropolitan area. Our team is dedicated to delivering high- quality, patient-centered primary care, with a strong focus on adult and geriatric populations, many of whom are enrolled in managed Medicare plans. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive, collaborative, and physician-friendly environment. We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider looking for a balanced schedule, autonomy in patient care, and a stable, respected practice setting. The hours are Monday - Friday 9am-5 pm. No weekends or holidays office hours. Flexible scheduling approach with physician input on patient flow and an average of 10-15 patients per day, which allows for meaningful patient interaction. The call schedule is divided with the other providers 1 week every 3 weeks. Typically, fewer than 5 calls per week and primarily before 10 pm. Duties and Responsibilities Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for a specified patient population. Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions. Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate. Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of support staff as required. Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives. As appropriate to the position, participates in specified health promotion, education and/or prevention programs. Licensure: Missouri and Illinois licenses are needed – a plus if on hand but we can help with acquiring these. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
