Restaurant ServerThe Restaurant Server performs all tasks associated with taking and delivering orders to guests. Servers are the face of our restaurant and are responsible for our customers' experiences.Responsibilities:Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and orderAttend to customers upon entrance to the restaurantPresent restaurant menus and help customers select food/beveragesTake and serve ordersAnswer questions or make recommendations for complementary productsCollaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staffDeal with complaints or problems with a positive attitudeIssue bills and accept paymentQualifications:Excellent verbal and people skills with a friendly attitudeWarmth and graciousness with the ability to function in a busy environment.Attention to cleanliness and safety.Ability to work as a team player with excellent guest relations skills.Responsible and trustworthyHigh School DiplomaExperience:Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience. Hands-on experience in cashier duties.Job Setting and Physical Demands:To perform the job successfully the candidate must be able to use a computer and other standard office equipment.
