Low Voltage Technician

Low Voltage Field Manager Wachter is seeking a highly motivated Low Voltage Field Manager to serve as the vital link between our onsite field teams and corporate Project Managers. This dynamic, full-time role combines hands‑on technical fieldwork with leadership, quality control, and junior project management responsibilities. Requirements Experience: Background running multiple low‑voltage projects simultaneously (CCTV, access control, network racks, cabling). Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of commercial (retail, warehouse, etc.) work environments. Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings, bid specs, and construction take‑offs. Tech Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook) with a typing speed of at least 40 WPM for reporting. Soft Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, strong time management, and excellent attention to detail. Education: College education is preferred, but equivalent field experience is highly valued. Responsibilities Oversight: Monitor and assist in installation progress against project timelines and verify physical installation quality. Leadership: Provide hands‑on training and development for field employees. Client Relations: Conduct project kick‑offs, walk through project scopes, and build trust with onsite client contacts. Reporting: Document onsite findings and progress, translating field data into clear updates for Project Managers. Safety: Strictly promote and enforce Wachter’s zero-tolerance safety culture and complete daily toolbox talks.
