Required Qualifications Education: Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Licensure: Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant by the South Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy. Certifications: BLS/CPR The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) supports patient rehabilitation by assisting with treatments, fabricating splints, monitoring progress, and maintaining documentation. The OTA also trains staff and works with diverse patients to improve functional abilities.
