A Day in the Life of a Senior Project DirectorAs a Senior Project Director, you estimate projects using software such as Xactimate to create the scope of work. You work in collaboration with the Operations team by gathering field measurements, notes/plans, photo documentation, and materials necessary while using your understanding of restoration and the true costs of construction to create accurate estimates and preliminary budgets. Your service-oriented mindset and positive disposition comes through in every interaction, fostering strong relationships with coworkers, clients, and subcontractors and making collections activity a breeze.You are a communicative, forward-thinker who proactively provides solutions for any problem that may arise, and ensures the appropriate parties are kept up to date. It's clear that you're going places as a professional, and you're thrilled to be part of our success, knowing that First Onsite will support and encourage your professional growth and development.Responsibilities:Lead projects from scope development through completion, ensuring budget, schedule, and quality goals are metOversee subcontractors, crews, and jobsite activities while maintaining safety and compliance standardsPrepare and manage estimates, budgets, bids, change orders, and client deliverablesTrack project performance, analyze data, and proactively resolve risks to margins or timelinesHandle documentation, reporting, billing, and claim settlements with accuracy and attention to detailManage large-loss restoration projects, including commercial and industrial jobsExperience & Education:10+ years of industry experience with both Disaster Recovery (DR) and General Contracting (GC) expertiseProven track record managing large, complex losses and at least 10 Area Wide EventsExperience across multiple vertical specialtiesNegotiation training and leadership in large-loss projectsHigh-level professional with 6+ current certifications (industry or non-industry)Bachelor's degree in Construction or related field preferred; high school diploma or equivalent requiredValid driver's license required*Employees assigned to certain healthcare-related roles may be required to participate in additional drug and alcohol screening program(s) in accordance with client requirements, such as but not limited to Coalition for Construction Safety ("CCS") regulations in the state of Indiana.First Onsite provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
