Maintenance

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office. Key Responsibilities Plan, install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain a variety of electrical equipment and controls pertaining to production machinery and facilities, including motors, relays, circuit breakers, CNC machine controls, heat treat controls and systems, alarm, data and communication systems. Diagnose problems, replace or repair worn or defective parts and prepare wiring diagrams. Perform the repair and maintenance functions detailed in repair and maintenance mechanical manuals. Essential Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair all mechanical, electrical/electronic controls, machines, equipment and systems including pneumatic and hydraulic devices. Install and connect machinery, equipment, computers and other systems. Install and maintain infrastructure systems: HVAC, lighting, power, data, communication, etc. Program PLCs, process controls and other controllers. Perform mechanical repairs as needed. Assist other maintenance people as required. Keep work area clean and orderly (5S). Adhere to all standard operating procedures. Work in a safe manner and follow all safety rules and procedures to ensure personal safety as well as safety of co‑workers. Complete all required paperwork accurately. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Trade education preferred. Minimum five years’ experience. Solid CNC system and component knowledge and experience. Broad PC experience including PLC and process controls, including programming. Experience with data and communication equipment. Capable of driving all forklift trucks, including reach and platform. Able to read and write circuit diagrams and document changes to existing diagrams. Must have good communication skills. Ability to perform verbal instructions, as well as read/interpret all assembly documents. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to train others. Physical Requirements Lifting up to a maximum of 35 lbs. Frequent bending, stooping and reaching above and below waist. Twisting frequently at waist and shoulder levels. Frequently sitting on powered forklift. Capable of wearing safety glasses with permanent side shields at all times. Capable of wearing steel‑toed safety shoes at all times. Capable of wearing other PPE as required. Sufficient visual acuity to read instructions, safely operate equipment (including forklift), and ensure work meets standards. Sufficient manual dexterity to safely operate forklift and properly perform work. Working Conditions Typical manufacturing setting with movable, mechanical parts and/or equipment. In addition to normal manufacturing shop elements regarding temperatures (no air conditioning so warmer in summer months and cooler in winter months), dust, and noise levels (within required limits), working conditions may be somewhat disagreeable due to frequency of vibration (due to volume of parts) and exposure to higher than normal dust levels.
