End User Support Specialist

We’re looking for an End‑User Computing Specialist I to support our healthcare environment by delivering timely, accurate, and creative technical solutions that keep our end users productive. This role supports a variety of end‑user technologies across the health system, including Desktop, Network, Telecom, Infrastructure, Print, Audio‑Visual, and Integration services . What You’ll Do Serve as a Tier 2 support resource , troubleshooting moderate to complex hardware, software, telecom, and networking issues Diagnose, research, isolate, and resolve technical issues both remotely and onsite Perform preventative maintenance and restorative actions on IT hardware and infrastructure Collaborate with Tier 2/Engineering teams (Applications, Systems, Infrastructure, etc.) for escalations, repairs, and follow‑up Recommend system improvements to reduce recurring user issues Accurately document issues, resolutions, and activities in the ticketing system Resolve basic issues independently and **escalate** more complex problems as needed Support additional duties as assigned What We’re Looking For 1+ year of applicable IT support experience Entry‑level to early‑career technical skillset with a strong willingness to learn Customer‑focused mindset with solid troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently in a healthcare environment Onsite position in Boise Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance Occasional overnight travel outside the Wood River area may be required Personal vehicle required (mileage reimbursement provided) Compensation $17/hr to $19/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
