OB/GYN Locum Opportunity Nebraska
Position Overview
An established OB/GYN practice is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN physician to provide locum coverage for scheduled holiday blocks. This is a 1:2 practice offering a mix of clinic, labor and delivery, gynecologic surgery, and call responsibilities within a supportive team environment.
Compensation:
Orientation $175/hr
On Call (Daily) $2,920 per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis
24 Hour Holiday Call $4,380 per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis
Call Back $350/hr
Holiday Call Back $525/hr

Standard obstetric procedures
Vaginal deliveries
Cesarean sections
Routine gynecologic surgeries
General OB/GYN procedures in both clinic and hospital settings
Patient Care Environment
Established women's health practice
On-site ultrasound services
Dedicated front office and clinical support staff
Collaborative practice model

Qualifications
Required
Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Completion of OB/GYN Residency Training
BLS Certification
DEA Registration
NRP Certification
Availability for requested coverage dates
Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation
Preferred
Active Nebraska Medical License
IMLC eligibility
Clean malpractice history
Ideal Candidate
Recent and ongoing OB practice experience
Comfortable with both obstetric and gynecologic care
Experienced with labor and delivery coverage
Able to provide independent call coverage
Strong quality and patient safety record
Important Notes
Candidates must have recent OB experience and be actively practicing obstetrics.
Providers with significant malpractice concerns, quality issues, or credentialing barriers may not be considered.
