Position Title: Technician (Route / Universal / Start Technician) Reports directly to the Service Manager of the branch. No prior experience required; previous pest control or sales experience is a plus. Comprehensive classroom and field training is provided. Resources and support are available to ensure success. Purpose Focus on selling new service and renewing existing service with sustainability goals. Contribute to customer retention and acquisition through inspections, estimates, new sales, and service delivery. Duties/Responsibilities Interact regularly with customers to troubleshoot problems and explain service details. Work outdoors for most of the day; lift at least 50 lbs; crawl/kneel in tight spaces. Apply liquid treatments to soil; perform basic trenching and cleanup. Enter data and documentation into mobile devices for services performed. Work Monday‑Saturday during the summer season as needed. Maintain clean driving record and pass drug screen. Complete required examinations as part of New Hire Training. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to read and understand simple documents regarding safety and regulatory standards. Basic mathematical skills and practical problem‑solving ability. Committed to courteous, respectful, and friendly customer relations. Participate in Insight’s online University Program; monitored by Service Manager and Lead Technician.
