RN - Telemetry

Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in various Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and floating between units as required.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister patient care in accordance with established protocols.Monitor and interpret EKGs; titrate cardiac drips including Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, and Dobutamine.Assess patient conditions and provide feedback to healthcare teams.Float among Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units as needed, including possible floating to ICU and various holding areas.Participate in orientation and training, including passing a dysrhythmia exam and participating in Sim Lab exercises.Comply with hospital policies, including working weekends and holiday shifts as assigned.QualificationsCurrent BLS and ACLS certifications are required.NIHSS certification preferred for neuro-focused units.Experience in Telemetry, Medical-Surgical, or Critical Care nursing is highly desirable.Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing patient needs.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Work EnvironmentThe position requires floating between various locations across the region. The successful candidate should be prepared for rapid transitions and able to provide care in different settings including Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units, with varying patient conditions.ShiftsShifts are primarily 12 hours, from 7 AM to 7 PM. Weekend and holiday shifts are required at a frequency of every other weekend and two major holidays per year.LocationThis position may require travel to multiple locations within the region.Additional NotesInitial orientation includes two days on the floor for familiarization.Potential for cancellation of scheduled shifts as outlined in policy.Utilization of centralized telemetry and monitoring systems across units.If you are a motivated and dedicated RN looking to expand your experience across various medical settings, we encourage you to apply and join our dynamic team.
