Full Time Adult Neurologist Opportunity In Raleigh, NC

One of the largest and most respected neurology practices in the nation is seeking a talented and dedicated Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Adult Neurologist to join our expanding team of over 40 providers in the vibrant Raleigh, NC area.

Position Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position primarily focused on outpatient general neurology practice, with light call responsibilities to manage emergent issues. The ideal candidate will provide expert diagnosis and long-term management for a diverse adult patient population within our state-of-the-art facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive neurological examinations and consultations for new and returning adult patients.
• Order, interpret, and analyze various diagnostic tests, including MRI, CT scans, EEGs, and EMGs, utilizing our on-site diagnostic services.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, prescribing medications and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team for therapies (physical, occupational, speech) and surgical referrals (neurosurgery).
• Provide patient and family education on neurological conditions, risk factors, and long-term health management strategies.
• Maintain accurate and complete electronic health records (EHR) in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure continuity and coordination of care.
• Participate in professional development and potential clinical research activities across various indications (e.g., MS, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Migraine).

Qualifications & Skills

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Successful completion of a US-based Neurology residency program.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of North Carolina (or eligible to obtain).
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
