This role offers strong earning potential, consistent hours, and clear paths for advancement.Benefits and CompensationPay & Incentives: Paid weekly, double time after 40 hours, $300 on-call stipend, paid commute time (first and last half hour of day)Retirement: 401k with company match after 6 months (6-year vesting)Health & Wellness: Day-one health insurance (multiple plan options), life insurance, short- and long-term disability, AD&D coverageTime Off: Up to 18 days PTO in first year, paid time off for licensing/testingTraining & Development: Paid training, tuition reimbursement, license reimbursement and fees, ongoing professional development, career road mappingEquipment & Tools: Company-provided van, computer, smart devices, uniforms, and bootsCulture & Extras: Company events, team celebrationsRequirements & Qualifications5–10 years of hands-on HVAC/R experienceEPA Universal Certification (required)Valid Driver's License with a clean driving recordMA Refrigeration License (preferred)OSHA 10 certificationStrong electrical knowledge related to HVAC/R systems and controlsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprintsWillingness to participate in an on-call rotationCommitment to continued education and skill developmentMust HavesDiagnose and repair complex refrigeration systems including ice machines and walk-in/freezer units under varying load conditionsPerform system startups and verify control sequences on RTUs, split systems, and make-up air unitsTroubleshoot and recalibrate control systems to ensure proper airflow, temperature, and humidity balanceCoordinate with dispatch and customers to prioritize emergency service calls effectivelyDocument service activity digitally using tablets or mobile devices in real timeSupport shop operations such as inventory handling, shipping/receiving, and occasional administrative follow-upsMaintain service vehicle readiness, including tool organization and parts trackingPreferred Background & SkillsExperience working with smart HVAC controls and building automation systemsFamiliarity with Android-based service platforms and field softwareStrong customer communication and relationship-building skillsExperience in commercial or industrial service environmentsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple service callsPrior experience mentoring junior technicians or apprentice
